  • The cuticle of the hair shaft runs in one direction. This ensures that the hair is soft, silky and tangle free.

THE WEFT HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE:

  • Double drawn.
  • Machine made.
  • Equal in length from top to bottom.
  • Consistent in thickness from roots to ends.

20 INCHES

  • Our experience has shown that 18-inch Hair Extensions are by far the best length for our clientele.
  • 20 inches also look the most natural. This is our primary aim at TG Hair Extensions, to make sure the Hair Extensions look natural when applied.

BETWEEN 40 MINUTES AND 1 HOUR

  • A full head of Weft Hair Extensions can be applied in under 1 hour and a half head in under 40 minutes.
  • It takes approximately 15 minutes to trim and / or layer the Hair Extensions, so that they are blended beautifully with the natural hair.

NO. THEY ARE 100% SAFE AND GENTLE ON NATURAL HAIR.

  • Our Weft Hair Extensions are attached to natural hair using silicon-lined micro beads.
  • Microbeads are known for their ability to protect hair.
  • When the Weft Hair Extensions are applied, your stylist will gently clip the microbeads into place using a lightweight tool. They will not use any glue, chemical solutions, heat, bonding or weaving.

How often should Weft Hair Extensions be re-applied?

EVERY 6 - 8 WEEKS

  • It is our recommendation that you reapply your Weft Hair Extensions every 6 – 8 weeks.
    Note: The exact timeframe is dependent on how quickly the client’s natural hair grows.
  • You can reapply the same set of Weft Hair Extensions for several months. Some of our clients have maintained their hair so well that they have reapplied the wefts for up to 18 months.
    Note: The more you care for the Weft Hair Extensions, the longer they will last.

Can I colour my Weft Hair Extensions?

YES, YOU CAN DARKEN THEM ON COLOUR BUT YOU CANNOT LIGHTEN THEM.

  • Our Weft Hair Extensions are perfectly safe to dye darker but lightening them can potentially damage the hair (e.g. make it feel dry).
  • TG Hair Extensions always recommend that you have your Hair Extensions coloured professionally and avoid colouring the Hair Extensions at home.

YES, THEY CAN BE TREATED THE SAME AS NATURAL HAIR.

  • As the Hair Extensions are 100% Remy Human Hair, they can be blow-dryed, curled and flat ironed.
  • You will need to follow the same rules that apply to your natural hair. This includes:
  • Avoid applying extreme heat to the Hair Extensions as it will dry, damage and reduce their lifespan.
    • Use high quality, moisturising shampoo / conditioner and styling products.
    • Always apply a heat serum prior to blow-drying, curling or flat ironing.

WE RECOMMEND BELOW THE EAR LOBES.

  • Whilst your hair does not need to be a certain length, in order for the extensions to grasp the natural hair properly and to ensure that a natural look is achieved, it is recommended that your natural hair reaches the bottom of your ear lobe.
  • Whilst excellent results can be achieved with short hair, as a general rule, the shorter your natural hair, the shorter the Hair Extensions will need to be. This will ensure that your hair does not end up looking like a mullet.

YES, WE HAVE AN AFTER-CARE SHEET.

  • We have designed an After-Care Sheet which you will receive after your Hair Extensions are applied.
We will also provide you with tips for maintaining the Hair Extensions during your appointment.

YES WE SELL CUSTOM MADE / TAILORED CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS

  • The hair is the same quality hair as the Weft Hair Extensions.
  • Clips ins are tailor made based on your preference (e.g. 1 large clip-in piece or 3 smaller pieces).
  • Our stylists take your scalp measurements or there is a standard size available which can be ordered.
  • Weft Hair Extensions can be transformed into clip-ins once you are finished with them.
  • Clip-In Hair Extensions take 3 – 5 business days to produce, depending on demand at the time.

HALOS AND PONYTAILS

  • The hair is the same quality hair as the Weft Hair Extensions.
  • You will need to visit the salon, as the stylists will need to take scalp measurements or there is a standard size available.
  • Halos and Ponytails take 3 – 5 business days to produce, depending on demand at the time.
